The Friends of the Library are welcoming guests to the Ashe County Public Library to share their outdoor adventures, photography tips, a popular tourist attraction and more.
Meachele Martin will discuss her trek on the Appalachian Trail at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Friends’ meetings begin at 11 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with an occasional exception, February through October in the Friends, community room downstairs at the library. The meetings are open to the public and light refreshments are available. Visitors do not have to be a member of the Friends of the Library but membership is open to anyone over 18 years of age for the bargain price of $5 for per person.
