The Youth of Buffalo Baptist Church will be sponsoring a fundraiser from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at Oakwood Farm in West Jefferson for their summer trip to N.C. Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell.

A photographer will be available to  take pictures with baby lambs or baby donkeys. This event is by appointment only in 15 minute increments.

The funds raised through this event will be used to help send local youth to Fort Caswell to a summer camp. The camps include personal quiet times, small group studies, recreation, worship, large group celebrations and church group devotions.

The rising seventh through twelfth graders who attend the camp will explore what balanced spirituality looks like for teenagers today, understanding that there is a difference in faith being based on facts and not feelings.

The sitting fee for the portrait session is $15 which includes a CD of digital photos.
