ACSO arrests include assault on a female

On March 12, the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office released details of recent arrests including Joseph Wayne Painter, 51, of Creston, who was arrested by the ACSO on March 5, and charged with assault on a female and violating a domestic violence protection order. Painter is also charged with felony worthless check by Watauga County law enforcement, and three counts of obtaining property by false pretense by Person County law enforcement. Painter is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on a combined bond of $24,000.
Ronnie William Grubb Jr, 33, of Lansing, was arrested by the ACSO on Feb. 5, 2013, and charged with shoplifting concealment goods, and driving with license revoked by Wilkes County law enforcement. Grubb was released on March 6.
Logan McKinley Trivette, 18, of Fleetwood, was arrested by the ACSO on March 7, and charged with three counts of breaking and or entering. McKinley was released on March 7.
