ACSO arrests include statutory rape/sexual offense of a child

On Feb. 12, the Ashe County Sheriffs Office released details
about recent arrests including Derrick Ryan Anderson, 20, of North Wilkesboro, who was arrested on
Feb. 6, and charged with statutory rape/sexual offense (with a child older than 4-younger than
6-years old), and obtaining property by false pretense. Anderson is currently held in the Ashe
County Detention Center on $82,500 bond.
On Feb. 4, Aubrey Clyde Edwards, 27, of Boonville, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after break/enter, injury to real property, assault with a deadly weapon serious injury, assault on a female, and obtaining property by false pretense. Edwards is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on $25,000 secured bond.
On Feb. 4, James Eric Settle, 40, of North Wilkesboro, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after break/enter, breaking and/or entering, larceny after break/enter, and injury to real property. Settle is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on $30,000 secured bond.
