Booster club's prime rib dinner April 21

The annual prime rib dinner, a major fundraiser of the Ashe County High School Athletics Booster Club, is scheduled for Saturday, April 21.
The event will be held in the gym of the high school, beginning at 6 p.m. The drawing of tickets will take place about 7 p.m.
In addition to supporting a high school program that includes 17 varsity teams, eight junior varsity teams, a freshman teams, and a fall and winter cheerleading program, the booster club also funds two scholarships each year for graduating seniors. The club also contributes to Project Graduation at the high school.
