Mrs. JoAnn Blevins Johnson, 75, of Lansing, NC, died on Monday, February 6, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Johnson was born on September 6, 1936, in Grayson County, VA, to the late Oscar and Mabel Farmer Blevins. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Blevins, and her husband, Robert Glenn Johnson. She retired from Sprague Electric Company. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Dan Hess. Mrs. Johnson lay in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial followed in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by one daughter, Pam Neill and husband, Nollie, of Ennice, NC; four sons, Mike Johnson and wife, Beth, of Lansing, NC, Gary Johnson and wife, Stephanie, of Deep Gap, NC, Don Johnson of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Bobby Johnson and wife, Hope, of Laurel Springs, NC; two brothers, Duane Blevins and wife, Dawn, of Danville, VA, and Dean Blevins and wife, Lucy, of Kissimmee, FL; two sisters, Louise Woodie and husband, Junior, and Janice Taylor, both of Elkton, MD; two sisters-in-law, Anita Blevins of Windsbach, Germany, and Pauline Miller of Lansing, NC; seven grandchildren, Emily Johnson, Eric Johnson, Cody McLean, C.J. Johnson, Shaun Johnson, Cassidy Johnson, and Gavin Johnson; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
