Mr. Lacy Elmer Miller, 70, of West Jefferson, N.C. died
Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Miller was born on August 11,
1941 in Beckley, W.V. to James Marion and Dora Shepherd Miller. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by
his parents, sister, Reatha Wood & brother, Don Miller.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Lyall, the Rev. Leon Miller, the Rev. Earl Roten & Bro. Anthony Roark. Burial will follow in Perry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012, at Badger Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Miller is survived by one daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Price of Creston, NC; two sons, David Wayne Miller of Lansing, N.C. & Billy Jack Maine of VA; two sisters, Goldie Byrd of Galax, VA & Madaelline Roop; two brothers, Carroll Dean Miller of Lansing & Jimmy Miller of TN. six grandchildren, Amanda May, Pamela Jones, Michael Miller, David Wayne Miller Jr., Robert Anthony Miller & Benjamin Miller; eight great-grandchildren, Hailey May, Heather May, Cody Medley, Dalton Jones, Addison Jones, Rachael Miller, Jacob Miller & Kate-Lynn Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to Apple Grove Baptist Church.
