Robert Birl Miller

Mr. Robert Birl Miller, 70, of Warrensville, died on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Miller was born on Aug. 26, 1942, in Ashe County, to William Worth and Aulsie Stidhams Miller. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Illene Miller and brother, Roy Earl Miller. Mr. Miller loved to coon and bobcat hunt. He enjoyed working with his farm animals and dogs. He was a generous and giving person and he loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Badger Funeral Home by the Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial followed in Pennington Cemetery. The family received friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Badger Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller is survived by daughter, Chrissy Grady of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, Michael Miller of Helton, Vernie Miller of Whitetop, Va., Kenneth Miller of Pennsylvania; seven sisters, Tina Blevins, Debbie Miller, Betty Ellis, Theresa Miller all of Lansing, Myrlean Hufford of West Grove, Pa., Brenda Eller of Mouth Of Wilson, Va., Elizabeth Miller of West Jefferson. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kyle Grady and Emily Grady; several nieces and nephews.
